Breakfast! It's the most important meal of the day. It will give you fuel to get you through your daily activities. It is important to eat a well-balanced breakfast with carbs for energy and a good amount of protein that will keep you fuller longer. No time for breakfast???? MAKE TIME. Cook in advance.
There are also some quick options. I drink Shakeology on those mornings when I don't have my eggs ready. You can also grab an Ezekiel English muffin and top it with some natural peanut butter.
Whatever you do, DON'T eat donuts or sugary granola bars (yes, most granola bars are loaded with sugar). They will give you a sugar high and then a low (which will make you feel tired and hungry and want to eat more sugar).
Don't get fast food breakfast sandwiches. They have a lot of fat in them.
And on another note, for all you coffee drinkers......try not to add flavored creamers to your coffee. Again, even if they are low-fat, they contain fake sugars which will have you craving a sweet treat mid-morning or at lunch.
