As we get old, all of our lip anatomy begins to change. Our lips become thinner and we start to develop vertical wrinkles into the lip border. The Cupid’s bow starts to flatten out, along with the philtral columns. The corners of our mouth begin to sag and shadows creep in at the oral commissures and marionettes form.
So when people ask for a lip filler, it’s not a case of ‘fill her up’, but looking at each of these areas to see which can, and need, to be improved
