RAAS Devigarh is a crenellated vision in white set high on a granite knoll with far-reaching views, this is no ordinary palace hotel. It’s a symphony in white offset with silver and gold and vivid splashes of peacock green and saffron yellow. @raashotels
My favourite bedroom at @theadaremanor is the Lady Caroline Suite, which in the living room includes heraldry on the ceiling, this impressive arch and a view of the river. My exclusive first review of the hotel, finally reopen after a top-to-tail renovation, is in today's Telegraph
Evening drinks at The Gallery in @theadaremanor, which is apparently the second-longest room in Ireland (after The Long Room library in Trinity College). This picture shows about a third of the space, which was once used only infrequently as a setting for grand receptions and is now the place to go for breakfast and afternoon tea.
The elegant, wood-lined Oak Room restaurant at @theadaremanor, which serves sophisticated, successful Irish cuisine. The team here is aiming to make the hotel one of Ireland's most progressive culinary destinations and is working with lots of interesting small-scale Irish producers to offer a really comprehensive insight into the country's best produce
Trying out a set of the @dubarryofireland boots and jackets that are left for guests' complimentary use during their stay at @theadaremanor. I wore them out during yesterday's miserable weather and can attest they're completely waterproof, which is important in the west of Ireland.
FRENCH TOUCH — What is it with the French and their ways of making any space look effortlessly chic? Staying at Scarlette, a small-scale boutique hotel in New Delhi, feels like entering the set of an @elledecor or @archdigest shoot, complete with carefully arranged magazine stacks and precisely positioned picture frames, but peppered with a heavy je ne sais quoi appeal. 📝 Full review via link in bio!
The lobby at @theadaremanor hotel. It's cold and rainy in Limerick tonight so I've taken a seat by the fireplace and am currently eavesdropping on the couple speaking Gaelic beside me - so nice to randomly hear it when I come back home.
My suite at Adare Manor in Limerick, which reopened last week following an extensive renovation. A 19th-century stately home that subsequently operated as one of Ireland's better hotels, it has been completely reconfigured, updated and expanded and is now aiming to be the very best hotels in the country.
