Guys I know I’m post partum but how many times would you guess that I cry when I read this?
As soon as Evan and I saw this we knew we needed it on our walls. What a powerful reminder of how great this stage of life is. I catch myself getting frustrated with our little space... when one baby wakes the other in the middle of the night, when there are toys from one end of the house to the other, when I’m prepping supper on 5 square inches of counter space, when we can’t host church lunch... the constant organizing and purging... but I’m realizing I won’t remember any of those things when we move on from here.
I’ll remember our first home... bringing our babies here, easily hearing their cries and laughs from any spot in the house sans baby monitor 😂 I’ll remember our sweet veggie garden that awkwardly takes up our whole yard. Fast and easy games of hide n seek, hardy hair and fly tying feathers LITERALLY everywhere. You can’t escape. You can’t eat supper alone or lock the bathroom door and sending your husband to the couch because of the snoring is really quite pointless 😆 this little house is the place where our love has and will grow the most! #gratefulheart #theearlydays
