Just gonna make one sappy post this week... My bestest girl aka RBF Queen turned 7yrs old yesterday! Nike, Heilige Schnike CD BN CGC WAC. Dam of AKC CH and pointed get (more to finish soon), dam of soon to be (fingers crossed!) IPO1 working get. I am so sentimental about Nike she is the best dog I will ever have and she gives me so much. This year we are training for Open in obedience and I believe we can get our Utility title if I can get my butt in gear and train enough. She makes it look like I train her way more than I really do lol. I also plan to get some agility titles this year, her true love and favorite sport. Although bitework really brought a great enthusiasm when we were practicing some of that. She can do anything! I have deep regrets not doing more sooner, before she became a senior. But I learned everything with her and we're still going. Yesterday we had a pizza party she has wanted a slice of pizza for 7 years more than anything in the world and she finally got it! She's the only dog that sleeps in our room and recently we rearranged furniture and moved her dog bed from the foot of the bed to the side by Danny. She would rather lay on the floor and shiver than get wrapped up on her tempurpedic mattress just so she can be right by ME even while I sleep. I will move her bed back. We were laughing about this and Danny said, "you're her heart human." AWHHH. Love you Nike, you're my best girl and I hope to make every day especially your bdays special! I know Nike won't care about it but she is sort of oddly human so maybe secretly deep down she will, I plan to get her a custom collar with a crystal picked out to represent the collar color of each of her puppies when the collar maker of our choice opens back up for custom orders. Nobody will ever truly know how much this dog can do and has given but the people who own her puppies get the closest glimpse. Someday I pray I get to have a grandpuppy or great grand that has an ounce of her but that isn't my thought for now because I hope she has many strong years to go!!
