Yesterday I was SO EXCITED to receive in the post some beautiful works I purchased from @thecupcollab exhibition.
Many of you who have followed me for a long time know that in my formative childhood years my family lived in Sweden & that when we returned to Australia we brought a lot of Sweden home with us that are still part of our daily life. Traditions, mementos, obsessions with clogs😁, & of course the gorgeous Dala horses that are such a big part of the culture. In my house they are scattered everywhere. Big, small & medium. Each and every one handmade & decorated making each one unique.
So when I saw the collaboration between @kathryn.mitchell & @annelaurecharlie (middle) I just had to buy it ....... And another one just slipped into my shopping cart☺️!
I love supporting projects like this that celebrate the work of artists- but this one is so special, being able to meld the work of two artists to create such beautiful products is just so so wonderful. Thank you @adrianachristianson for making it all possible. Lots of these vessels have travelled across the world between artists & then come back to be exhibited in Melbourne. It's amazing when you think about it.
The online store is open until October 18th via @thecupcollab profile if you want to purchase or view the cups. #thecupcollaboration2016
