@wokdthai Take-Out, is a fast-paced casual dining restaurant which takes you to the heart of buzzing Bangkok, Thailand. Here, traditional recipes are served up fast and fresh, creating an intoxicating blend of sights, sounds, and scents.
For starters, order their Papaya Salad, it's very refreshing. The peanuts and the chili dressed with tamarind sauce makes it interesting to the palate.
For the soup, Tom Yum is a no-brainer. Theirs is not too spicy, it has the right blend of herbs and spices, the broth is not that rich, though. But it's good enough to satisfy your Tom Yum craving.
As their name suggests, Wok'd serves a lot of Stir-Fried Thai dishes, like their Seafood Phad Thai of course, which is too sour for my liking, I enjoyed their Pad See Ew more, it's a Stir-Fried flat noodles with chicken, prawn, egg and mixed veggies seasoned with homemade oyster sauce and sweet soy sauce.
They also serve Curry dishes, like their Massaman Beef with Rotti, the beef was stewed to perfect tenderness. Nothing special but it's quiet good, perfect for curry lovers.
For grilled food lovers, they have something for you also, like the Gai Yang, marinated chicken breast fillet grilled to its perfection, best paired with their stir fried dishes or their papaya dalad.
Don't worry rice lovers as they have something for you too, their Chicken and Seafood Fried Rice, this is best paired with the Tom Yum soup and their Stir-Fried dishes such as their Chicken and Cashew Nuts, Garlic Pork and Pepper, and their Thai Beef with Chili and Basil. Although it has chicken and seafood in it, you really need to pair it with another dish of your choice as I find the mixed rice bland if eaten without any other dishes, at least in my standard.
A perfect ending to a spicy Thai meal is to finish it off with their creamy Thai Milk Tea, which cleanses your palate and remove the spicy after taste.
Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience at @wokdthai. I love the idea of seeing their chefs cooking those stir-fried dishes through their open kitchen, which allows you to smell the aroma of your food while waiting for it to be served.
