Going off of my post from earlier... I just want to remind people that counting calories has never, ever proven effective in any credible scientific study. In fact, counting calories has the opposite effect; it wrecks your basal metabolic rate. This has been shown time and again. This is why long term weight loss has such a low success rate (up to 99% depending on what data you're looking at.) We cannot game our bodies. #keto and #fasting work not because of calorie counting, but because you're allowing your body to do what it's supposed to do. Both reduce insulin resistance and burn fat in the way it has evolved to do. In fact, if you're fasting, you better also be feasting, or else you're going to wreck your BMR. Listen to your body. Be patient with your body while it heals. You ever wonder why there's no reunion episodes for #thebiggestloser? Look up the study they conducted on former contestants. It will blow your mind.
