Do you foam roll? Or as us nerds call it “self myofascial release”? 🙋🏻 or 🤷🏻♀️.
First of all, the foam roller is used to place pressure onto different layers of soft tissue in the body and after a period of time the body will release the tissue and mobility is usually restored (the foam roller mimics a therapists hands in a way). Obviously the increased blood flow makes for better pumps and decreased soreness so win win for us athletes/bodybuilders.
