In the spirit of #gratitude and #giving, I had decided to do another year of my #ThankfulThursday giveaway. I had also mentioned at the beginning that in lieu of Christmas cards this year to my current clients and family/friends, that I would be making a donation to the local #foodbank. I don't typically share photos when I make donations like this (I don't believe the accolades are necessary), but I just wanted to share something. This food pictured cost less than $50 - but it could mean the difference in someone eating this week. I am a firm believer that when you are able, to help in any way possible. I know that not everyone is able and, in all honesty, there are times when even we can't. But when we can, to be able to make even a small donation like this, fills my heart. Especially at this time of year when things are tougher.⠀
I support our local #SalvationArmy's food bank in Niagara Falls, for the wonderful programs they offer from the food bank to amazing children's programming. The money they raise with their Kettles program STAYS in Niagara Falls to help with their Hampers (which provides food and Christmas gifts to families in need) and other programs that provide necessities. ⠀
Please consider making a donation to your own local food banks or even a small act of kindness can go a very long way <3 ⠀
Have a safe, love-filled holiday season!!
