SAD | #Day11 | #SAInktober
Still a few days behind, but I’m catching up!
I’ve been feeling much more free with my expectations of art, and of what I consider “good” art lately. For this piece, I simply smooshed paper on top of globs of paint and then peeled it off. I got the idea from a 13 year old. 😋 It was quick and easy, required very little work, anyone can do it, and yet I still think it’s great! I love the texture it creates, especially.
I know it doesn’t seem very SAD, but what I was going for was a flatter, more 2D, but still textured version of DEPRESSED, which I posted 2 days ago. To me, a primary difference between the experience of sadness versus depression is the texture and depth. Do you agree? Cheers! 💙✌🏻✨
