"I'm scared" how many times has this thought kept you from doing something you are capable of doing? I can do a handstand without a spot, but @leah205 still stands near me and offers assistance if needed during our drills in class... why is it that when she's holding the phone I can't do a skill I do all the time - new focus during class @saltaer_jax is practicing without a spot while I have the benefit of the mats! If I want to #handstandeverywhere I need to get over my fear of not having a spotter .

🤸🏻‍♀️ after a whole two hours of #tuckups it's fun to see how else to get into a handstand - @cloudbreakacro is an amazing coach and his handstand program has helped strengthen my arms and my confidence for my handstand practice! .

Begin in Downward-Facing Dog, or on your hands and knees in Table Pose.
Bring your left knee between your hands, placing your left ankle near your right wrist. Extend your right leg behind you so your kneecap and the top of your foot rest on the floor.
Press through your fingertips as you lift your torso away from your thigh. Lengthen the front of your body. Release your tailbone back toward your heels. Work on squaring your hips and the front side of your torso to the front of your mat.
Draw down through your front-leg shin and balance your weight evenly between your right and left hips. Flex your front foot. Press down through the tops of all five toes of the back foot.

Bend your back (right) knee. Reach your right arm back and take hold of the outside of your right ankle. Keep your left foot flexed. ❤️(use a strap for added support!)❤️ If you are okay there, reach your left arm back and hold onto the inside of your right ankle. Square your shoulders to the front of the room. Or use any variation you feel comfortable in this pose. Hold for up to 30 seconds, then slowly release. Repeat this variation on the opposite side.
