Weekend at Bernie's (1989)
Two foolish friends work for the titular Bernie and find irregularities in the accounting of his business. But little do they know it's because Bernie works with the mob. So when they bring the issue to Bernie, he invites them to his beach house for the weekend under the guise of a promotion, and he goes to the mob to have the foolish friends killed there (which seems like an awfully bad place to murder your employees). But the mob boss knows Bernie is having an affair with his girlfriend, so the mob boss decides to kill Bernie instead of the foolish friends. The friends arrive at the beach house to find that Bernie has been whacked (murdered in mob slang), and instead of alerting the authorities, the two fools decide to take advantage of Bernie's posh beach house and live it up for the weekend before they tell anyone about a murder. Much physical "comedy" ensues with a corpse. There is even a scene where a woman has sex with the deceased Bernie. Ah, 80s comedy.
And that's an image of Catherine Mary Stuart, by the way. She doesn't have much to do in the movie except to be inexplicably interested in one of the foolish friends and be one of many characters that don't notice the guys are carrying around a dead body. She is delightful though. My favorite movie of hers is Night of the Comet.
