BALI FLOWER POWER: THE RARE CORAL REEFS FROM EAST BALI
Researchers in Bali recently managed to find a rare species of coral reefs in the waters of Bali. Bali MPA Network Manager, I Made Iwan Dewanta say, coral reef species that are included in the family Uephyllia. Uephyllia Baliensis, rare coral reefs that live in the waters of Bali and is located at a depth of 29 meters of Candidasa.
In Candidasa sea, Karangasem East Bali, this species is found by the world's coral expert. After doing research, apparently pristine this coral reef is endemic Bali. The reef is THE ONLY ONE in the world, whose lives in a colony . Can enlarge the size as big as a table, whit variety size, the smaller and bigger. The reef is located in the one area. Its presence is still very good so far.
This type of coral like Frangipani Flowers . Shaped like a thin carpet, but has a crown like the petals.
