Devotion: Spirit Pills.
Topic: Found by grace 2.
Text: Act 13:2 "While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Message: Grace does not only find you to identify you but to beautify and glorify you. Grace finds you to commission you not for what you are qualified to do but it qualifies you to do what it calls you for.
The work of God is carried out by men, and referred to as men of God. That is the mystery of grace; the natural handling the work of the supernatural remains unfathomable and that is the beauty of grace.
Noah was probably a peasant farmer. Grace found him, commissioned him an engineer, a builder, an evangelist, a pastor, a sailor among many others.
The twelve apostles were minding their menial businesses when grace found them. Now, they are all immortal by the exploits they did through the works grace committed into their hands.
You can't truly accept the gift of grace and still be left ordinary. No! Grace intends to add " extra" to make you extraordinary. This he does by committing into your hands the extraordinary.
Who could ever imagine that the murderer Saul would one day raise the dead? Who could ever think that he would one day see visions and turn many to righteousness? You can't imagine what grace can do through your life and hands.
What the eyes have not seen, the hears have not heard, what had never crossed the mind of anyone is what grace will commit into your hands. Someday to come, you will look back at what God has done through you and know; it can only be grace.
Prayer: Dear God, we declare our lives ready for the wonders of your grace. In Jesus name. Amen.
