I don’t do cups & saucer, I prefer just cups or mugs, I find saucers cumbersome & non functional. But the other day we were discussing, how some people still do saucers (eg, my parents or most people in defence forces). The trays I make don’t don’t cater for saucers. So we thought we need to cater for the ignored saucers as well. I didn’t want to make the tray too big & cumbersome, I wanted a functional practical, multi tasking kind of a design and what we managed to achieve is not only all that but also multipurpose.
It can hold 6 cups on the base, saucers on one box, tissue & spoons in the other. Now, for the multipurpose part, if you want you can use the boxes (on the tray) for holding snacks or not use it as a tray at all.
You can use it to organize your everyday accessories/ jewelry (using the different boxes for different things) or you can use it on your work table as an organizer (pen, pencil & stationery in the box, calendar, visiting cards, notepads on the base. It’ll work wonderfully even as a kitchen organizer (oil decanters, salt, pepper dispenser and a green pot with it). There are so many other ways one can use this tray as........... tell us, how would you like to use something like this??
