💛💙🎶🌌 (Event: 20,000 high school students for Southern University High School Day) "Blessings in obedience" God told me to start a Dance Ministry in the fall of 2016. I fully surrendered my gifts, talents, and abilities to God in the summer of 2016. I made a choice to cancel recording deals with Baton Rouge hip hop artist who wanted to work with me, and I let God take control of the gifts he gave me. I let go of being on dance teams that required me to dance provocatively, and let God change my desires into ministry. I never said that was easy in the beginning because i had to give up what my flesh was used to, and let the spirit overcome the flesh. Use your gifts to lead others to his kingdom. God will take your gifts away if you use them to glorify yourself, or use them for greed of wealth. It will lead you on a dark path, and lead you astray from God. True success comes from God. I've been dancing with @nadance72 for years performing, so God prepared me for this next level. God had me in the waiting process, and gave me a vision in a dream that I was dancing for his glory. I attended the Ignite Bible study for the first time in May 2016, and they had auditions for the Ignite The Awakening Youth Conference. I connected and auditioned for Darrell over the drama ministry, and auditioned for Joshua who was the leader for the Dance Ministry. God answered my prayers, and I was able to minister for the Awakening Conference. It was a blessing to fast and pray with everyone involved, and build. It was a wonderful experience from God, and to see many people being delivered and saved by God. God told me he will promote the Southern University dance ministry himself, he would give me the resources and connections, and it will prosper. God's word came to pass, and it started as a dance class, but God turned it into a local business. I did the paper work, prayed, and let God have his way. I didn't want anyone to pay cash, or audition in order to join because I wanted to give free opportunity. I believe in working as a team in unity, and i believe everyone has creativity.
