Unplanned unconventional workout today. The weather was nasty on my way from work, so I decided to go to the gym and run on the treadmill. As luck would have it, someone was using the only treadmill in our baby complex gym. 🙃 So I hopped on the elliptical, thinking it would at least give my body a tiny break after a hard half on Sunday.
Well, 3 miles in on the elliptical and the treadmill freed up, so I switched. I did a Fartlek run + some for a treadmill 5k!
Treadmill run was:
0.4 @ 12:45
0.3 @ 12:30
0.2 @ 12:14
0.1 @ 12:00
with 0.1 @ 15:00 recovery in between each! I did that twice, then added a few tenths of a mile to get to 3.1. Not super speedy, but treadmill running always feels harder to me so I am happy with it! 💪😋🏃♀️
