All numbers are to the ground through a TH400, big diff and axles, and 40” tires, and 8 pounds of boost.
Dyno Results: Took me driving back over to the dyno to get the sheets and they are not what I was expecting. I don’t know if it’s a normal practice to not log RPM with the pulls but this is what it is.... The max HP to the wheels is there, but somehow it reads it put down over one hundred trillion lbs feet of torque. I do know the real torque number and it was much higher then the Peak HP number, but I won’t post it until I put her back on the dyno and get a real sheet. I’m so bummed out...
Need a new dyno shop.
On the other hand, the truck pulls like a raped ape. It’s a whole different feeling and it will be fun learning to drive it again. Thanks again to @justatoytruck for the help and the dyno time!
The truck was set at a very conservative timing and A/F ratio so it would be happy spinning hard all the time. It was 100+ degrees outside when on the dyno and the little fan did nothing for the intercooler and it eventually heat soaked. I am beyond happy with what this fire breathing 2500 Silverado junkyard motor put to the ground with all eBay parts and a HE351 Cummins turbo! .
