#UnguardedAndUnbothered - reality ⬇️⬇️
The past 6 weeks have been SOSOSO taxing on me.. I have been working 30+ hours each week personal training/teaching group fitness classes/other duties, managing my online clients and #DBFTChallenge group, staying involved in @officialpowerbuffgirls, on top of another side hustle I have picked up AND STILL HAVING TO GET MY LIFTS IN/BE HUMAN/SUPPORT BAE IN FOOTBALL/AND BE A GOOD DOG MOM!!! SOS. 😓☠️
Since I have been traveling every single weekend it's been really hard to get in a good head space to relax when I feel like I don't have time to. My lifts have been sporadic, I have a hard time tracking on the weekends diligently because I am gone all the time, and it's caused me to get down on myself.
However, I have been praying for some anxiety to be taken off, and God has definitely been listening to me. I may have a lot of crap on my plate, but I am managing it all, and slowly learning how to take it day by day instead of worry so much about the future.
Moral of the story: Sometimes you have to grind with your head down in order to pave a better future for yourself.
Right now, I have to work my butt off so in a few years, I don't have to.
With that said, HAPPY MONDAY - do something amazing today to make tomorrow even better. 💪🏽💕

Today has been...a day. To say the least. So here's a picture of me from Saturday when I was much happier with @kailaodren and cider mill donuts.

Normally I'm not one to complain about Monday's because my Mondays usually don't suck. But damn. It seemed like every time I turned around, life was slapping me in the face today.

Whatever though. Gonna keep truckin along and hope to have a good workout tonight, and better day tomorrow 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yo ok so positive thinking is underrated as crap. A lot of times I get stuck in the mindset that my mindset doesn't matter AND THAT AINT TRUE. I am a negative person through and through. I play the victim. I like saying my life is hard BUT I've actively been trying to change that this past year.

A month or so ago I found myself reverting back to that behavior and thought pattern and then I looked at myself and said "WHY YOU DO THAT"⁉️⁉️ there's no need for that. A few weeks ago I forced myself to be positive. I would lay in bed before I went to sleep and visualize how the day would go and how I would stay upbeat even if things didn't go my way. I would talk through my day and stay steadfast in those thoughts. And you know what? I've had a great few weeks!

Example: I have a very negative mindset towards waitressing because its not exactly what I want to do with my life. But, my lovely neighbors own a restaurant and needed help this weekend. Instead of complaining and being all lame about it I decided it was going to be a great 4 days, that I would be productive even after I got off work, and that I would stay positive as crap when I was working (even if there were reasons to be v negative). And it was a great 4 days, I was productive, I spent more time with my family, and I'm in a dang good mood.

I just want to be a radiant beaming center of positivity and shed away my desire to internalize everything. I am positive today will be great and I am positive that Monday's are indeed a great day to be alive ☀️☀️☀️☀️

Day 8 of MFT28 back to chest 😃😃this time I tried to fail out on push-ups after the workout and couldn't even do one so I know my chest has been destroyed 👍👍 now to go shower and get ready for the rest of the day! F I N A L L Y
Today was the first day in weeeeeks that I've had a good, full workout! Hopefully getting my mojo back🤞🏼 I did biceps + triceps which I haven't done in over a month😐 (side note-I didn't even have a bicep when I actually trained them consistently😂) To finish off my biceps I did a static dumbbell curl (holding one dumbbell at a 90 degree angle) while completing 20 curls on one arm followed by 20 on the other arm, then went right into another set of 10 reps. Use a light but still challenging weight!
To finish off my triceps (which are weak sauce) I did 12 dumbbell over head tricep extensions using a light but still challenging weight, immediately going up 5lbs for 12 more reps and immediately after that going up 5lbs again for 12 more reps then going back down. (I hope this makes sense) OUCH🔥 .

One of my favorite hobbies other than the gym is music. I really like listening to music as well as playing the guitar. And lately, music has been way for me to relax from the stress of school and even now, I just spent 45 minutes playing the guitar which was fun ☺ And while I enjoy the fast songs, the slower songs take much more concentration and rhythm which adds another element to the song being played. As for the song I played, I actually blended two songs and kinda just freestyled. Anyways, hope y'all like it! What other hobbies do y'all have?

Not feeling the best today 🤧😷🤒 I took the day to work from home to try to let my body rest and recuperate. Hoping I feel better tomorrow for leg day. I'm 100% an advocate for taking days off if you need it. You know whether or not you can push through something but always listen to your body. -

Rule of thirds right!? I'm getting in the habit of just eating good food. Rather than fretting about macros too much. Need to listen to my body more and see how that goes before I crack down. By the way, in case it wasn't obvious, I'm going back to carb based food instead of the Keto diet.

Im not saying the Keto diet was bad. It worked tremendously well for me and I felt great, but I'm a simple cook. The Keto diet has too many foods that you prepare in multi step recipes. I am also a man that prefers to spend his time outside of the kitchen. -------------
