Once upon a time, I was asked to do 21-15-9 ring muscle ups and single arm OHS. It did not go well 🤦🏻♀️😂 I dropped down to singles pretty quick on the rings, ended up getting timecapped, and finished last in my heat (in front of my friends and family, and like a thousand other people.) I HATED that feeling and told myself I don’t want to feel like that ever again 🙇🏻♀️
So #KusamaTrauma (@jameskusama) and I worked hard in the off season for me to commit to larger sets on muscle ups. Here I am, 10 months later (and 10 pounds heavier) letting out a lil smile at the end of my set in #18point3 because I know it took 1000+ reps of practice for me to be able to string together like this when I’m tired.
