when art collective @teamlab_news collaborates with saga beef restaurant @sagaya.ginza, magic happens. had the pleasure of dining at @moonflower.sagaya, an 8-seater multisensorial private dining experience in tokyo, where artful light projections inspire the menu.
the folks at #teamlab will first decide on the visuals, and then the chefs would create a menu to match that, using only the finest seasonal ingredients with saga beef leading the show. the meal started with uni x yuba, raw prawn wrapped in roasted saga beef and topped with caviar. seriously. also love how the lights interact with the placement of the tableware. everything in this space was super well thought out, right down to the plates which were specially made by japanese craftsmen. seriously so mindblowing and forward-thinking that this restaurant inspired many copycats in its wake.
@moonflower.sagaya is only open for dinner, has only one fixed 12-course menu that costs 30,000 yen per person. worth every single cent.👌🏼
