Gaintaining.
My biggest challenge yet.
Dieting is very rewarding and motivating, I can understand why people get addicted to the shred.
I battle with myself most weeks thinking "I could be leaner" "I could have bigger muscles here" "I could be a lot stronger" but when does that stop?
We could always be a little bit better at things but sometimes we have to just accept that it's okay to just BE.
I'm not standing here showing you my tummy to say,
"Here look at me!"
I'm stood here saying,
"I'm just a young lady proud of my achievements and my desire for more but I'm happy to just take my time now and learn about me"
I'm not striving for perfection I'm just striving to better myself, mentally, physically and aesthetically, and to constantly educate myself to help my clients.
Over the weeks of maintaining my weight I've learnt a lot about myself, what works for me, how I can live the life I want to lead, socialising, exercising, hell I've even started to cook more!!
This is what living a healthy lifestyle consists of to me, living and being, not always having to have a 'goal'.
Sure I might want to have a goal again at some point, that's okay!
This shell of mine is mine and I am physically a reflection of how I chose to live my life...
Lifting
Eating foods that I like
Keeping active
Self love and appreciation
Gratitude
Caring for others
When you hear yourself mentally punishing yourself you have to ask "what would I say to a friend, what advice would I give them?" And that is often your answer...
I'm not lucky I just take care of myself.
Maybe it's time to stop abusing with your "can't do's" "I'm not good enough's" into "I'm trying and I am able to..."
Just a thought 💭❤️

Comments that I hear from time to time.
🤦🏽‍♀️It's not that way at all.
I'm conscious of my activity, I used to obsess and constantly be in the gym, if I wasn't I was out running, or stressing that I wasn't doing a form of vigorous exercise.
Now that's changed A LOT.
Yes having a Fitbit does make you more conscious of how active you are, but I've even seen people obsess over their steps and as a result it's effected their performance in the gym.
You've got to find your balance, and I know what you're thinking..."well I don't know what that is!!!"
Tough sh*t really, take time, understand what works for you.
Take time to understand how you feel after 'lifting'/'HIIT'/'cardio' and start to look at how long it takes you to recover. A day? Maybe 2? Maybe you feel fresh to go again? Notice whether you feel hungrier, or maybe you feel so exhausted you sit down a lot more...?
LEARN WHAT WORKS WELL FOR YOU ❤️
One thing that is talked about a lot in the industry is "there's no such thing as overtraining" no but there is overreaching.
Determine what YOUR goal is.
Are you currently doing TOO much at once to attain that goal?
If so, you'll lose out on how to LEARN how to sustain that goal.
Habit building is key 🔑
Today I went for a walk because I like it and I like keeping active in a non-taxing way. I was actually meant to go hiking but I knew if I had done I would have overreached this week...

Well it's been an overall great week for my culinary skills (or lack of 😂)👩🏽‍🍳
I've cooked 3 new meals all from @scottbaptie's high protein cookbooks.
Honestly the main reason why I love about the recipes is the fact they have such few ingredients. There is nothing more dissatisfying than finding an amazing recipe to then have to spend £££ on all of the ingredients (half of which you never use again 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 I mean who actually uses fish sauce 🐟?!)
Anyway!
Turkey Meatballs & Red Pepper Sauce served with green trees 🍗🍲🌳
This took me about 30mins, from prep to plate 🥘 and just under 300kcals for the whole thing!
I highly recommend the e-books!! 🙌🏼
