Talk about progress for me! As most of you know, I've been going to the gym at least 6 days a week for the last 4 months after I was cleared by my doctor. If busted my butt no matter how discouraged I felt due to my medications, fear of lymphodema, menopause, and whatever else Stage 4 Breast Cancer has thrown in my way. Every month I have progress little by little but looking at 3 months today.. man, do those baby steps add up. 💪💪 In the last 3 months.. - My BMI is down. - I've lost 3.2lbs overall. - I've lost 5.5 inches from my hips and up. (Probably more since we only measure 1 arm)
- Gained 3 inches in my legs (No skipping leg day here!). - All but doubled my wall sit. - Went from modified push-ups to regular push-ups AND surpassed that original modified number.
- Lastly, did 18 more crunches!
I'm definitely crushing it! Or at least trying to! Couldn't do it without Jason pushing me.
And of course shout outs to my favorite trainers who also keep me motivated... Eli Allison Rita Joshua Janet (@ericcasaburi, some of the BEST coaches/trainers you have! Guaranteed!) Oh and lastly, since he whooped my butt into gear tonight in Team Conditioning followed by my monthly check-in exercises... promo for Eli. Lol. Sign up for his OCR (Obstacle Course Training) group for early Saturday morning. I'll probably be there... Most likely crying. 😂😂 #cancercomeback #showingcancerwhosboss #beastmode #workinghardeveryday #stage4breastcancer #metasticbreastcancer #fitness #workout #teamconditioning #retrofitness #lovemygym #lovemytrainers #ihopeimotivatesomeone
