After tracking my weight and measurements consistently on prep I decided I needed a mental break from it. Hid my scale in the bathroom cabinet and feeling less anxiety walking in there since doing so. Still tracking macros, it'll be a little while before I am mentally ready to make that transition. It's all a work in progress.
I came off prep, enjoyed myself maybe more than I should have and feel pretty content with where I'm at. I have my moments, but I always find a way to give myself a reality check. I'm not shredded and I'm okay with it.
I don't have a super motivational story for you guys about this, just honestly in shock with the progress I've made in 17 short months. Make the time, put in the work, nourish your body, and unbelievable changes will take place mentally & physically. Be proud of where you are, you don't have to be satisfied, but be proud. You are worthy. You have it in you too. Keep pushing, keep fighting."

Reverse dieting and post show done right🏆. There are 5/6 weeks between these two pictures. @sommerffit ended her diet (we had to go an extra week for a photoshoot) at 1480Cal 130gP 150gC 40gF and 3X stairs 25 min + 3X sprints 30s sprint w/30s recovery for 15 minutes. Obviously things got harder as the weeks went on but she worked her ass off and post show/photoshoot she had a big treat meal and one day off of tracking...then she was back to it Monday. Now she's at 7X 2000Cal 130P 235C 60F with occasional cheat/untracked meals and cardio reduced to 2X15 min stairs, while maintaining close to stage weight. We will be making bigger increases as the weeks go on to maximize off season hypertrophy. POINT OF THIS: Make your off season and post show STRATEGIC. Don't fall off the wagon. Don't keep your calories super restrictive and make no progress but also don't go full dreamer bulk and get fat. Post show your metabolism is in a very delicate state, treat it properly. Off season also should be a time for balance... Enjoy strategic cheat meals... Be MORE flexible with food choices 👍🏆 Also check out @sommerffit IG💁 #teambeyou2befit

Power was out at the gym today but got in there & crushed leg day despite being in the dark & no AC in FL 🤣😜. Fun times! Hit a new deadlift PR of 135lbs too! I lost 90 pounds without a gym membership using the BBG program and running so I went back to my roots today and got it done! I may be missing out on my last week of phase 1 but that doesn't mean I'm skipping my workouts!

So school starts back next week and I'm REALLY debating on working out in the mornings.
I'm weighing the pros and cons of it.
Pros: ▪️I can come home right after work and spend more time with my family.
▪️get my workout done for the day

that's all the pros I have right now

CONS: ▪️I'll have to wake up at 4am to be at the gym by 4:30 and to give myself time ready for work (I'm a teacher) ▪️being sweaty trying to get ready
▪️being tired by the time I get home
▪️having to pack my clothes for work then night before

There are more cons than pros at the moment. Anybody an early bird? How do you do it? I used to get up before work to workout but I worked out at home, so the difference is I'll be going to the gym now. I don't know what I can manage but I'm really thinking about it because hat PRO is big for me.

I know I know 😂😂 Seriously I don't know how you ladies do it. Anyways, leg day was intense!
Yesterday I did some intuitive eating but logged it. Mostly because I feel like I've been trying too hard to hit macros but not really as hungry, so I'm just trying to find balance.
Today I discovered I've been using the hack squat machine COMPLETELY wrong, as in, I'm not even using it because I'm not even moving the bar down to actually move the weight, I knew something was off with the machine but then I saw some girl use it and literally laughed at myself because I'm sure all those muscle men were making fun of me but WHATEVER. You live and learn!
