After tracking my weight and measurements consistently on prep I decided I needed a mental break from it. Hid my scale in the bathroom cabinet and feeling less anxiety walking in there since doing so. Still tracking macros, it'll be a little while before I am mentally ready to make that transition. It's all a work in progress.
I came off prep, enjoyed myself maybe more than I should have and feel pretty content with where I'm at. I have my moments, but I always find a way to give myself a reality check. I'm not shredded and I'm okay with it.
I don't have a super motivational story for you guys about this, just honestly in shock with the progress I've made in 17 short months. Make the time, put in the work, nourish your body, and unbelievable changes will take place mentally & physically. Be proud of where you are, you don't have to be satisfied, but be proud. You are worthy. You have it in you too. Keep pushing, keep fighting."

In that first picture I had just finished my first 5k, and I was already down a good amount of weight. I won't ever forget what it felt like being where I was, but most importantly how much danger my body was in if I didn't change.
I've been struggling lately, and I think it's because I'm wanting results and at the beginning of this journey I was getting them with the things I did, and that progress is not like it used to be. I'm in the gym every day and it seems like what I'm doing isn't working, and then I remind myself I'm only in week two of this program so I don't know why I'm complaining. It's just a mind over matter game. This journey is lifelong and there are highs and lows and I'm sharing it all because IT'S NOT easy guys.

No power, no problem.
My gym is closed, so I made my workout happen outside today. I did legs for 3 rounds, core for 2 rounds, and I don't know what the last one was but I did it for 1 round. 4 exercises 30 seconds on 30 seconds off then 4 different exercises same thing.
I did a total of 6 rounds of 8 exercises each round. I wasn't able to post every one, but here are my favorites.

It’s a new week, new month, set goals and crush them!

I'll be totally honest right now. When I don't workout I feel completely different, I never feel good, I'm always tired, and it's just not a good situation for me to be in lol.
I recently started school again since moving to El Paso in February and work and school are my first priority, so it makes sense that Fitness was put on the back burner for a couple of weeks. But just recently I was tired of feeling the way I did and I'm doing something about it. I will MAKE time every day to workout and focus on myself.
Also, it's nice to see the slightest bit of muscle definition after today's workout. 🙂

Phew! So glad I did not skip today's workout. That's the beauty of exercise. Once it's done, you feel amazing. I was very tired this morning, but I rolled out of bed anyway and tomorrow is rest day so I can look forward to that. Ready to conquer this day!

Today my workout was cut short because I accidentally pressed snoozed so I did cardio first and did what weights I could get it. It was still a great workout despite that and check out those sweaty leggings. Gotta love cotton!
