Lord help me. #charlevoixmarathon
Alright, I'll explain. Last August, before I turned 30, I listed out my goals for the year. It's been an incredibly productive year, one of a lot of personal and professional growth. Only one thing hasn't been accomplished yet: a BQ. When I felt like a million bucks after Youngstown, and the opportunity of running Charlevoix presented itself, I knew I had to consider it. Flash forward to tomorrow morning, where I will line up for my fifth marathon and fourth BQ attempt.
I know I'm not guaranteed anything. But the heart is there even more so than before. Lincoln made me tougher. Youngstown made me love it. I'm ready to combine the lessons I've learned and give this one more go before I turn 31.
Also, I'm well aware I've still got quite some time in this demo. But I've got other goals to accomplish, specifically an ultra, after running Boston. I've never not planned to be at Boston in 2018 and I'm ready to seal the deal.
