It's always so nice to find teachers on Instagram that share their ideas for the grade/subject you teach. If you teach the upper grades, here are a few upper grade teachers you may want to check out for inspiration. 💕 #teachersfollowteachers#teacherinspiration#iteach5th
Teaching is one of the noblest of professions. It requires an adequate preparation and training, patience, devotion, and a deep sense of responsibility. Those who mold the human mind have wrought not for time, but for eternity.
I’m going to be very honest about this one. I am EXTREMELY guilty of this🤦🏼♀️. In the past, I have been SO quick to dull my light, or talk down about myself, so that someone else could feel better about themselves. I felt like if I could make someone else feel better or happier, then I had done my job. But honestly- at what expense? Of acting like I didn’t know how to do something when I actually did? Or saying that I didn’t like the way I looked when I felt my light shining? Or saying something was difficult for me too? Or the worst one- joining in on someone’s negativity so they didn’t feel so alone. You guys- I learned quickly from that one! That doesn’t help the person! It only fuels the fire. So I’ve made it a MAJOR goal of mine to STOP this type of self downplay for the benefit of others who most likely wouldn’t do that for me. It doesn’t help! No, of course we shouldn’t throw our victories, joys or positive self thoughts in someone who’s strugglings face... but I will find another way to be a good friend. My mom has taught us this lesson so many times- and my make everything better mindset didn’t always allow for that to happen- but no more. If you know what I’m talking about, then I hope that you too, will stop putting your light out to make someone else’s shine brighter. YOU MATTER! . . . #selflove#selfloveispower#teacher#teachers#teacherlife#teachertribe#teachersofinstagram#teachersofig#teacherinspiration#iteachtoo#iteach456#sixthgrade#sixthgradeteacher#middleschool#thursdaymotivation#thursdayvibes
