First off, ya’ll know I am a huge hip hop fan. If you haven’t listened to 6lack’s album that just dropped, you’re missing out. On another note, I didn’t get a chance to write a podcast last night because I work full time and go to school full time. I don’t think I’ve ever stated that on here, but last night I had a research paper due while I was watching TYT’s coverage of the NYS primary votes. I honestly am disappointed in the vote for governor, but more so with the severe difference in votes. This entire nation desperately needs a progressive to start taking social factors into play. I am so happy to say that the majority of the IDC representatives were voted out. Making our senate more accountable! Every voice and every action counts. The voter turnout last night was incredible! Thank you to everyone who voted.

The first podcast I wrote, I was so hyper focused on nailing it. I wrote down word for word what I was going to say for a multitude of reasons. I talk super fast. When I get hyped I talk even faster. I swear a lot. I go off on tangents. I didn’t want to miss any key points. I wanted to make sure I was accurate...this point I just want to expand on. I wanted to be accurate because of the subject matter I was dealing with. There are so many stereotypes and misconceptions that need to be broken down. I realized if my message is going to resonate at all, I need to express myself freely. So here we go. Episode 2 of my podcast (Elevated) will be out tonight. Link in bio for E1. 🖤

What motivates you to keep your body in shape? The key to a healthy life is moderation. Allow yourself to eat things that are delicious, but make sure you focus on your abs that night when you work out. Use little breaks in your day to do squats, sit-ups, or take the stairs. These little changes in your life can help you improve your mind and body. 💪🏻
