When we use labels to define ourselves and our world, we condense these multifaceted creations into lifeless shorthand codes. Though words are powerful tools, it's easy to forget that they are not the thing themself, only a sound symbol pointing to a greater reality. The word "rose" could not possibly encompass all that this creature truly is.
