I have one last workshop for this year, a Party and event planning workshop on December 2. I am really looking forward to this. I have lots of hints and tips and practical advice to teach on how to plan a event, and enjoy it! I am already thinking about the lunch 😍
After that workshop, the first workshop for 2019 is a Tasman Peninsula cooking experience where we will cook with the best and freshest food we can find on the day. Other workshops listed are bread baking, food styling and phone photography , seafood cooking, party planning and game cooking.
We are so lucky on the Tasman Peninsula with the food and drinks we have available to us and I loved cooking it all for years back when I have the Mussel Boys restaurant.
oysters, salmon, trevally, crayfish, abalone, octopus, venison, wallaby, rabbit, cherries, berries, apples, pears, chicken, beef, lamb, goat, cheese, wine, vodka, gin every veg, including what I can get from my own garden, and more.
only 8 spots per workshop as we like small fun groups so if you have your eye on a date please book early.

I’m still in heaven from our private dinner with Natalie Fryar and @bellebonnetas sparkling wines on Saturday night during @effervescence_tasmania.

My guests all ‘learnt so much’ as Natalie explained the history of Tasmania’s wineries - particularly in Tamar Valley - the prime location for her grapes of choice making her outstanding new #TassieSparkling wines:
The Bellebonne Vintage 2015 Cuvée and the spectacular all Pinot Noir Bellebonne Vintage 2016 Rosé...
With very small production of 16-2100 bottles, and recent disgorgement means we were sipping on the product just as the creator intended ✨
Matching perfectly with @hubertanddan’s generous Feast menu, our tastebuds were dancing!

Natalie spent 14 years as sparkling winemaker for @jansztasmania then decided to move full-time to Tasmania. She is in demand as a consultant to various wineries, most importantly, Pipers Brook Vineyard, making sparkling wine under the Kreglinger, Pipers Brook and Ninth Island labels.

Her touch is everywhere including the @wellingtonandwolfe spectacular Riesling she makes with partner Hugh McCullough (not to mention her own Tassie Gin brand @abelgintas !
She also shared with my guests Samantha Cunnew’s exquisite @stargazerwine Pinot Noir - Perfection all ‘round!
