It's hard, or rather would say, extremely difficult to be 'Tara' in a world where people give up on each other way too soon, where people find one reason to abandon each other while forget those thousand beautiful moments they've had shared together, where they are busy trying to mould each other to perfection rather than admiring the imperfections. It's takes an iron of steel and a heart as majestic as mountain to be Tara - who is absolutely complete, sorted, feisty yet highly empathetic, nurturing, and capable of being the reservoir of unconditional love.
Such is the power of Tara's love that it transformed an awkward people-pleasing Ved, shown him the mirror to face his inner demon he's been subconsciously suppressing for years, and helped him to heal himself, release many self-limiting pattern he grew up into a charming, self-loving vibrant man who choose to reawaken his inner child, find happiness around him & manifest his dream to become a storyteller - an innate talent that was dormant for years (even when she wasn't around him) <3
Thank you Imtiaz Ali for creating one of the best characters ever written in Hindi language cinema who has cemented a special in our heart forever & special gratitude to Deepika Padukone for playing Tara with so much love and affection who isn't afraid to own her vulnerability, remain grounded, never stopped loving her man yet didn't compromise with her self-respect. I am truly running out of words to describe the impact Tara had in me. :) <3
