We’re so grateful we were able to shoot our House Harlequin collection there. ❤️💛💚💙 @misslilylaurent is wearing the Doris Top in Blue House Harlequin and the Doris Skirt in Royal Blue, which are available for pre-order and coming soon, respectively. 📘 Milena
The #holygrail for #Silver#polishers#waterofayrstone#tamoshanter#polishing Water of Ayr stones is a natural stones from Scotland used for finishing silver to a stage at which it can be polished. It is designed to get small scratches of the surface. IT is dipped in water which acts as a lubricant, then rubbed over the surface of the metal. The stones gradually shapes itself to the work as it is used.
So many things I could have included, so I may do a part two tomorrow for some of the costume jewellery I've made, but anyway!
First the hat which I previously posted, and belt purse to go with the kilt that I inexplicably decided I wanted to wear to a mid winters Christmas party haha! The cap is called a Tam O'Shanter, after the titular character in the Robbie Burns poem I believe. And the purse is a Sporran.
Next some bracelets / wrist bands I've made, with etched copper plates, leather plates, and some more leather ones painted to look metallic.
