TGIF! How are you rolling into the weekend? Burnout happens when I’m not aware of how I spend my time. I start working more hours, getting less done, feeling more stressed, sleeping less and eating poorly. It’s a downward spiral that nearly every entrepreneur I know has faced at some point.
Knowing what helps fill your bucket or helps push the reset button is a key factor in taking care of yourself and being able to maintain high performance.
I focus on food. Meals that are high in nutrients and supplements with adaptogens are important. Getting outside and moving my body is a MUST. Even if it’s just for a walk by the lake but if it’s something that gets my heart rate up even better. And time with loved ones that transcend just family is fundamental. Having a community of people who share your values and interests and GET you is better than therapy. It IS therapy. Today I spent time with some dear friends who have supported my business my journey through motherhood - spending time with them is soul food.
