“You’re gonna have some good days, but don’t be afraid of those bad days” — Whether I’m producing or coaching (Music Business), the number 1 thing I always try to instill in people aside from starting is to be CONSISTENT! —-
Doesn’t matter if you’re a rookie or advanced; slow progression is better than no progression. In the past two days, I’ve literally spoke about this concept with three different people. You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to START to be GREAT! In 2015, I stopped making music. I lost my confidence. The only reason I made beats was so that I wouldn’t be so bored all the time. Fast forward three years later and I’ve already had placements with major artists, local artists, taken business trips, worked for big companies, and I’ve even spoken at seminars. Doesn’t mean I don’t find myself discouraged some days. Just means my will to succeed is greater than the excuse I keep telling myself as to why I can’t make something work. Take notes.
