4. We need strength to manoeuvre taking off a sports bra when we’re sweaty.

5. We need strength to feel like we have a chance to fight off unwanted physical advances.

6. We need strength to recover from sickness and injury. The stronger you are the easier (& quicker) this fight becomes.

7. We need strength to fight the ageing process and be badass as we grow old.

8. And we need strength because of the fire it lights within us, to remind us of what we’re truly capable of.

Beleive it or not our children know their bodies limitations far better than we do.⁣

Children are far more likely to injure themselves in adult-directed sports than in their own freely chosen, self-directed play.⁣

That’s because the adult encouragement and competitive nature of sports lead children to take risks--both of hurting themselves and of hurting others—that they would not choose to take in free play. ⁣

Participate and encourage risky play with your children. Give them the opportunity to build healthy bodies AND minds.⁣

I miss @titanfitness_au so much.
It was 100% one of the highlights of living in Sydney
(that plus all the yummy food and the sunshine obvs). I definitely struggled in Sydney and without having this place to train at daily I think I’d had definitely crumbled! ❤️ Hopefully I’ll get to visit again some day!
For now @theunit.fitness is full filling my needs nicely 😁💪🏻
