OKAY! This is gonna be a long post but anyway: ⚡️💪🏾💙🙏🏾⚡️Gotta give a special shoutout to my #swolesister @gymbunny_1588 for showing support yet again at #RoP18!!! This is a well deserved early #tuesdaytransformation post bc the photo from 2016 is very telling of the growth and #gloup we’ve made now in 2018.
Although I don’t show much emotion, I still get emotional at how far we’ve come over the years as fitness professionals, athletes, and most of all young black women in entrepreneurship.
We met nearly four years ago in a totally different industry, our fitness worlds collided, and the rest is history. We both had athletic backgrounds years prior (Inky=bodybuilding and Clinay=collegiate athletics), but came together as two young black nerdy gals who loved to lift. We wanted to hold each other accountable to keep going and challenging ourselves in strength.
Who would’ve thought that down the line we’d challenge each other in business as fitness entrepreneurs. We’ve worked to refrain from thinking ourselves out of our capabilities and had coaching in strength and life.
I’m truly grateful and proud to call you not just my #swolesista but my sister. I don’t think I’d be where I am today without your love, resilience, and constant support these past few years. You inspire me daily to keep pushing to be better, and I can’t wait for us to continue to make an impact on others at a larger scale.
Looking forward to continuing the growth and transformations we’re developing daily, and I’m grateful our bond has remained constant.
I love you Inky! And thank you for being my friend, and an inspiration in so many ways! 💪🏾❤️🙏🏾
