Last year @williamhu666 originally wanted a 2xBW deadlift, we managed that in about 10weeks . Then he wanted a 200kg deadlift . We managed that a few months later.
but this is a guy whose primary goals gravitate around #BJJ (& getting #SWOL on the side). He trains with us twice per week. That’s it. So the question is with minimal gym training time do we keep focusing on Max strength or is he strong enough ? 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
STRONGER IS BETTER RIGHT ?
Well strength is a relative concept and there comes a point where training needs to move away from maximal strength and focus on all the other parameters of strength. In the next few weeks, you’ll see a lot more unilateral, strength speed , strength endurance and “functional” strength for this BJJ SWOLL man.
