Long way to home! WIP

Playing around with a potential new website.

Another three pages!

Merchandise development study #2 @semashow

I work with clients of all sizes. I've had the opportunity to work on the SEMA show since 2014 to develop the official merchandise. Consistent but relevant is always the tone! Here is a small sampling of the shirt graphics over the years!

Process: older live session I did. During the illustration I talked through my process. I usually start out very rough, wandering and sketching until I feel like I have enough of the foundation. Then I take another piece of paper (usually Bristol 100lb smooth) and start a clean or "finished" pencil. Basically I trace over the sketch and choose the lines I like! Full / finished poster can be seen at @fear_con

What a gift from David over at @the_urban_operator Appreciate it brother!

TIGER STRIKE will be available in the shop next week. Got the name from @reas36 Even though he suggested "Crouching Tiger" it gave me the idea to name it TIGER STRIKE, appreciate it!

Will be developing the rest in the next few weeks!

NEVER let a good design (or illustration) go to waste! Truth is not every client approves of what I suggest and... that's a ok! When the client passed on the Viking I could have easily tucked it away and moved on but... that's not my style! I chopped it up and dropped a skull in it. Will vector up next week as a personal exploration. Onward!

In a former life, a long time ago... this is a very old piece. When I was younger I used to draw strictly from life experience. I was deeply introspective (selfish really) and believed much revolved around me. This piece is of me and my father. I was faced with a heavy choice. To give in to my rage (lion on the left hand) or choose wisdom and move forward (key on the right)
It marks a great transition in our relationship (which is very good today) and was looking it over while I visited this weekend.

Samurai patch. Some projects allow me to take an idea and add as much detail as I desire based on the final application. Patches on the other hand do not. It requires less detail without sacrificing the image. A delicate balance.

Merchandise development study #1 @opticgaming

When Hector hit me up ( @optich3cz ) to do a small line (3 designs) for Optic Gaming it was humbling. They are LEGENDS in the gaming community. Moving away from the formal green the brand is known for Hector opted to go a bit more hardcore approach. They still remain a few of my favorite designs from last year!
