I remember my first Zumba class like it was yesterday. I remember feeling so terrified I was thought I would get sick right there in front of everyone. The music started though and I felt free, I was home. I made it through that class and never looked back. Besides a break for maternity leave, I have taught a Zumba class consistently since that day nearly 6 years ago. During this time I've met the most amazing people, had the best laughs and made lifelong friends. I have attained other fitness certifications, expanded my knowledge and become braver and stronger then I ever though possible. Zumba was my stepping stone into a new life and I will forever be grateful. There comes a time to leave things behind and move forward, and that time is now for me. I will forever love Zumba, but it's time to say goodbye to that chapter of my life. I'm not sure what the future has in store, but I'm excited to figure that out. Please continue to follow my page so we can share this journey together.
Every Zumba class is a party so it must end with a party as well. I hope everyone can join me for my last class, tomorrow Tuesday August 8, at 6 pm. Of course that party couldn't be anywhere else but my home away from home, Movement Works. Hope to see you on the dance floor, one more time. ❤️❤️#zumbalove #bodybybarbie #zumbafamily #zumbadivas #sweatlaughrepeat #loveyouallsomuch
