Day One |Today, I am not starting over, alternatively I’m opening a new chapter of my journey. I’ve been thinking lately that it’s time to seriously dedicate myself to getting my booty back to the gym and start focusing on really building back my muscle.

For the longest time I had just focused on losing weight and didn’t really give much thought to trying to build muscle. Well, I’ve quickly realized how important building muscle is!! Since I’ve lost so much weight I’m realizing without the muscle I look flat bootied and skinny armed! Not for much longer!!! These next 5 days I’m going to push myself to new limits and prove what my body can do!! Watch out world, I’m coming!!! 🙌🏻

I’m starting a prep week for my next round of my “Find Your Sparkle Fit Club” to get my muscles back in shape to rock this fit club with some lovely ladies who are reaching after their goals and finally making them a reality as well! Our #sweatforsummer online bootcamp is heading into week 2 and I’m so proud of the ladies who are pushing themselves!

Okay, here comes some real talk and some truth bombs. I feel like I shouldn’t have to defend myself, but I feel like it’s about time. I’ve been getting a ton of comments, and messages voicing concern for my weight and the way I look, so I want to clear a few things up for you all...Yes, I have lost a ton of weight. Yes, I am very skinny and small. Yes, it is quite shocking and an extremely big difference.

No, I am not anorexic, and to be honest if you saw all the food I ate in a day you would be asking me how I’m not 240+lbs again. No, I did not take things to the extreme and dedicate my life to spending all my time in the gym and overwork myself. No, I am not “unhealthy” nor at an unhealthy weight for my height, age, and body composition, even my doctors agree with me and are not concerned.

A little over 8 months ago, I decided to start intermittent fasting, and if you’ve ever seen people who commit themselves to that lifestyle, you will see people who are extremely cut, are very fit, and have little to no fat on their bodies but have kept their muscle definition. Combine the intermittent fasting lifestyle with my at home workout programs and power shakes, I got insane results!

I understand that there is some concern, and deep down I am VERY appreciative that you all care so much that you are willing to say something and check on me to make sure that I am okay, but at the same time, it’s starting to get really frustrating, difficult, and upsetting hearing about it ALL the time. It’s seriously starting to wear on my mental health, and I’ve spend so much time trying to build myself up, and I feel like it’s crumbling back down because of all the negativity and hate I’ve been getting. I promise to you all that I am as healthy as can be, and extremely happy with myself and my progress. I’ve worked extremely hard to get to where I am today, and am very proud of the progress I’ve made.

So just please remember and think about when you post a comment or send a message to someone, just because you don’t think it’s harmful or hurtful in anyway, doesn’t mean that it won’t be to the person receiving that comment or message. 💗

I get asked all the time WHY I became a Coach, to which I answer why WOULDN’T I become a Coach?!

My entire life I KNEW I wanted something more than a 9-5 job. I wanted to be able to work for myself and spend quality time with my family like my Dad did when I was growing up, I wanted to make a positive impact on others lives, I wanted the freedom of time to explore the world while working my business, and I wanted to prove to MYSELF that I can be successful and truly live my life to the fullest. Two years ago if you would have caught me daydreaming, that is exactly what I would have be dreaming about!!

The craziest part to me…because of Coaching I get to live my dream EVERY SINGLE DAY! In October of 2016 if you would told me that in only a year and a half I would be 130lbs lighter, beaming with confidence and self-love, have the most amazing group of women around me that I get to call my team and family, helping women of all kinds find their happiness and achieve their dreams, living my life by my OWN design, and be my OWN boss, I would have looked at you with a very strange look and said, "there's no way that could ever happen to me!" I had absolutely no belief in myself, and couldn't bare the thought of leaving my comfort zone.

I'm still in such disbelief that this is truly my life...(no really, I pinch myself sometimes because I don't believe it) But for the first time ever I can say I am officially LIVING life going after my WILDEST dreams, not trying to sleep through life surrounded by self negativity!

That right there is the reason WHY I became a Coach! It’s NEVER to late to chase after your dreams…listen to your heart (and your gut) and take that leap!! What’s the worst that could happen?!

-10 pounds and I didn’t step foot in a gym, I ate carbs every single day, I only did one workout a day, I didn’t add extra cardio, I didn’t cut out any food group, I didn’t count calories. I had been feeling the pressure and the need to be perfect lately. Getting frustrated quickly if my hair didn’t look right, if my makeup wasn’t done the way I wanted, or if I wasn’t wearing the right outfit or if my clothes didn’t fit me correctly. If I couldn’t do an unmodified move in my workout I would just end it right then and there instead of pushing through and modifying the move so that I could do it. If one of my captions wasn’t just right I wouldn’t post the photo because I felt like what I had to say wouldn’t be good enough. If I made a mistake, screwed up, or did something wrong it was the absolute end of the world and sent me spiraling downward instead of picking myself back up, learning from the experience, and moving forward. I was starting to walk down the one way street of perfectionism and self judgment. And once I start walking down that road, there is no looking back.

Our society nowadays puts so much pressure on us to be perfect! Think about it: you see the photos of the chiseled and tanned “fitspo” girls on Pinterest with a caption “top tips to get the perfect body”, you see makeup tutorial videos with dramatic and beautiful looks on Facebook with the captions like “the perfect makeup routine you must know”, you see nail art videos with gorgeously painted nails with the captions “look how perfect those nails are”. We see the word “perfect” EVERYWHERE on social media, and everybody STRIVES to be perfect. But is anything truly perfect?!

I know I am far from perfect! My hair is RARELY ever done, my makeup is never “on-fleek”, my eyebrows are never symmetrical, almost none of my clothes fit or look flattering, I’ve got extra flabby skin on my stomach and arms from my weight loss, I curse like a sailor, I snooze my alarm like it’s a second job, you get the picture! But you know what?! Those are the things that make me who I am! I am perfectly imperfect, and that’s something I’ve come to be damn proud of!! The constant comparison, and not feeling good enough is no more! And from here on out, I’m going to be proud of who I am!

So please please please do yourself a favor and stop comparing yourselves to others, you are perfect in my eyes!!
