✨BODY ODOR DIY✨
In 15 yrs I've lived in SoCal, I don't remember it being this hot & humid! It's been sweaty, sticky & stinky around here & I'm REALLY ready for fall 🍁😭. Till then, here's a DIY routine that can help with B.O.
I found these ideas on Pinterest & they've seriously worked magic 4 me!! Happy Sunday beautiful!
Pour a few drops of organic, undiluted apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball & apply on the underarm areas. Let it dry for 2 min then rinse w/ room-temp water. Pat dry.
Apple cider vinegar neutralizes the alkalinity caused by sweat. That will help kill the body-odor-causing bacteria & prevent it from further formation & growth.
ЅᏆℰℙ 2 (this is optional, but it's super effective at tackling body odor)
Take a glass of water & mix 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. Stir, then add a dash of honey (about 1 teaspoon). Mix & try drinking every day.
The reason why I drink this, is bc in some cases, digestion & the overall gut health, can cause B.O.
The probiotics in ACV help promote the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut & improve the overall health of the digestive system.
ACV can also help detox your body by improving the liver function. That in turn, will reduce B.O. .
Use about 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil (or any carrier oil. Olive oil is a good option too) & mix with 7-10 drops of sage essential oil. Apply under the arms & wait a few min to dry before putting on your clothes. This is when you can do your hair & makeup, & if it's still a little oily by the time you're dolled up, you can lightly dab the excess off.
I always follow up w/ my normal deodorant (just bc I'm paranoid), but you don't have to, unless u need it.
Sage will help constrain the activity of your sweat glands, it's really amazing at fighting B.O.
