What makes a good co-branded watch?
Part 1 - Swatch
On the left we have the Hodinkee Vintage 84, inspired by the Spring 1984 lineup, which features a translucent black plastic case and a stunning brushed aluminum dial.
On the right we have the Hackett limited edition, which is based on the Sistem51 Irony watch, which features a metal case, dark green dial and a brown silhouette of Mr. Jeremy Hackett’s Sussex spaniel, Muffin. The date window is framed in a bowler hat, a symbol of the Hackett brand.
I believe co-branded watches need to be distinctively unique from the standard watch without comprising the original design. What are your thoughts on these two pieces, and co-branding in general? 🤔
