THE BEST RUN I'VE HAD IN A LONGGGGG WHILE!!! So, since I've got to Edinburgh, I've been having a nagging pain in my left neck, scapula, armpit and down my tricep region. It was especially bad when I sit. And obviously classes have started, I gotta sit for long hours. The pain worsened. What didn't help was the cheaparse lousy pillow I purchased (seriously, why don't they sell firm pillows here?) It was soooo irritable to the extent that I couldn't concentrate during a conversation when I'm seated. I gotta keep shifting around for the best position.
I began trying to self-diagnose, tried all sorts of exercises. Didn't work. In the end I had no choice but to seek help from @poono88 (yeah, he saved me from my neck pain a yr ago too). Was prescribed with various exercises, helped a lil, but yesterday it was so bad I told him I'm so done with the pain (sorry I made you feel bad). Weather was good today, so I went out for a run, half expected a shitty one. BUTTTT!! Turns out to be one of the best!
I HAD ZERO PAIN AND MINIMAL NUMBNESS THROUGHOUT THE RUN! Corrected my own posture throughout the run, tried quitting my bad habits. The more I did, the smoother everything felt. I could take in deeper breaths. Towards the end of my last km, I was going at a faster pace yet minimal breathlessness!! THIS IS SOOOO INSANEEEE!! Let's see how long the pain stays away for today :) P.S. Thanks for waking up early everyday for my tele rehab ❤️❤️❤️ #MyPhysioSg
