#trustyourgut "This chakra is located on the head between the eyebrows and is associated with imagination, intuition, concentration and focus. Ajna, the Sanskrit word meaning ‘to perceive’, is symbolized by an indigo lotus flower with two petals. This chakra is where two nadi, or energy channels, Ida and Pingala merge with the central nadi, Sushumna. This intersection becomes the center that controls all higher mental activities, including emotional and mental intelligence, psychic abilities, and insight.
Asana to stimulate the 3rd Eye Center: Child's Pose
This is a resting pose that stretches the hips, thighs, and ankles in a gentle way while relieving any stress or fatigue. The forward bend in the child pose puts pressure on and stimulates the third eye chakra.

How to do it: Kneel and sit back on your feet with your heels pointing outward with your knees separated (about the natural width of your hips). Leaning forward, touch your forehead to the floor and bring your arms forward in front of you, exhaling deeply. On the next inhale, bring your arms back parallel to your legs with palms open toward the ceiling. Exhale deeply and repeat to taste."

Although some people can, it's more about maintaining length in your side body and so sometimes it's helpful to use a block or place your bottom hand higher up the shin. Use your core to maintain the pose rather than being completely reliant upon the bottom arm. Align your rib cage above the thigh and remember not to overly tilt your head! Any forward fold opens the back gate of the heart chakra that has to do with self love. How do you show love to yourself? Do you regularly dedicate a day for self care? Today is a great day to start. ❤💕❤️

Sushumna nadi is the central energy channel running along the spine. When Ida and Pingala nadis simultaneously open Sushumna opens. Hence why we practice alternate nostril breath! Furthermore, when we have a dedicated, conscious, spiritual yoga practice we ignite our inner fire. The fire awakens kundalini shakti lying dormant at the base of the spine. This spiritual energy rises up Sushumna nadi clearing each chakra (levels of the human personality) and ascends into the crown chakra where the yogi experiences oneness of being, absorption into the absolute, samadhi, nirvana, or moksha.

Land circuits in Texas reminded me of old confusers/computers I used to put together. I often tell students when you first start this practice it is like you have 10-20 switches on the wall in Your room, but the longer one practices the more one is able to add more switches, isolate, and track the lighting so they may perhaps clean the room even better (y.s. 1.40). Jalur Sushumna/Tulang Belakang tertutup pada kebanyakan orang biasa pada ekstremitas titik terendah (Muladhara). Dengan menjaga hubungan/kebersamaan dengan jiwa yang telah tercerahkan atau oleh pemikiran Guru pembimbing yang telah tercerahkan kepada meditator, Muladhara dibuka, dan arus saraf akan mulai bergerak naik ke atas. Bersamaan dengan ini sensasi bergerak ke setiap pusat psikis (Chakra) bereaksi. Reaksi ini diikuti oleh persepsi dan kemudian gerak. エゴをもって練習をすると怪我をすることや
どんなに有名な先生でもエゴを持った瞬間に
「ヨガ」の先生ではなくなること、
自分が生涯ヨガのいち練習生である
という意識がとても大切なこと、
アジャストは薬である、という考えが

To paraphrase Richard Freeman, alignment in yoga is that condition in which prana can flow through the body with ease. An important part of this is when the central axis of the body, or sushumna nadi, aligned.And, when prana flows freely through the sushumna, the yogi can attain a still mind. We will explore the important energy work of sushumna nadi this weekend!

#GoodMorning 🌞#SunSalutation on my deck in #Canada... in February? Wow! 🤗😍🙏🏽 It felt so nice having #Surya caress my face with his warm and gentle rays. I #love practicing directly in front of the sun ☀️ it not only feels good, but enhances my practice because it is too bright to open my physical eyes! Flowing with my eyes closed helps me to use my #MindsEye to see my body's position in space along with its #alignment. Engaging #Pratyahara (the withdrawal of the senses) alongside an #Asana practice allows you to become more #aware of your internal world. It frees the #energy that is normally used to process the information that is coming in through the senses, expanding the capacity for #selfawareness. I conclude 12 rounds of sun salutation with 12 rounds of #nadisuddhi #pranayama, starting with an inhale through the right nostril: #Inhaling for up to a count of 9, retaining the #breath for 9, and #exhaling for 9. While holding the breath, engaging #MahaBandha (a combination of all three energetic locks): the #JalandharaBandha (neck lock), #UddiyanaBandha (abdomen lock), and #MoolaBandha (perineum lock). The energetic locks redirect the flow of #prana towards the #SushumnaNadi (the central energetic channel located along the #spine where the 7 main #chakras reside) to #awaken and #purify your energy! ✨ #HappyFamilyDay to everyone, may your day be full of Love and #Joy with your nearest and dearest ❤️💛💚💖💙💜... and to my family that is on the other side of the world, you are always with me in my Heart 💞I love you 💞 #blessings to all 🙏🏽
