Feed your brain or remain the same... so what are my fellow boss babes and pro star athletes reading?! I want to know.
I'll be the first to admit being an English lit student in university killed my love for reading. Blazing through 1-2 novels a week was ridiculous and now my attention and interest in reading doesn't really stretch beyond food labels, exercise tips and magazine articles on health and fitness. Books that do seem to get my attention though and manage to keep it are ones that have a more psychological focus and have self reflection exercises or suggested activities in it, like this book -- "She Means Business", by Carrie Green. •
My favourite book by far is "Mind Gym", by Gary Mack. It's a sports psychology book that can really pertain to everyone, not just us athletes. It's all about the power of the mind, visualizing your goal and working towards it. •
