I don’t know what you believe in, but my astrological forecast across the board says mid-May started a new 7 year cycle. Meaning the last would have started in 2011. And I think it’s kinda spot on.
In 2011, I was (besides having tiny eyebrows): freelancing design by day and bartending in cut up Ed Hardy shirts to pay off all my school debt by night and once I did, paid cash for my (used) Acura
loving the Sepia filter
dancing like/with no one watching a Blue Bar on Sunday night still in my church dress from that morning
celebrating my birthday with my gorgeous (inside and out) coworkers
discovering the gym for the first time and going religiously but not understanding nutrition or muscle gains yet (ha)
spending one of my last nights in Nashville with one of my best friends since the 8th grade at the bar we always loved to hate to go to– which was also the last place we went the last time I saw her Christmas of 2016 (I miss her so much)
packing up and headed West to Cali to (cue my last 7 year cycle? maybe?) and headed to the beach to meet some Nashville friends
vacationing in Palm Springs with another one of my bests who let me land on her couch and really encouraged me to make the move to Los Angeles
going to the clubs with some more pretty Nashville girls (here we are on the stage at Supperclub behind Li’l Jon, I think)
running my first race ever dressed as Kill Bill with an old bar coworker who’d moved to San Diego and came up with his friends to race with me.
Now I recognize this may have nothing to do with 7 year cycles and more to do with free will and personal choice, but man, there was a lot packed into 2011 and I'm full on ready and refreshed to jam it in to 2018 and beyond.
Cheers then, to the next 7 year, universe/self/friends.
