Aldeyjarfoss, Iceland… _________________________________
This image has been a dream shot for us for a long time, but a nightmare in the making…
We shot here back in Summer last year & got a fiery orange sky at sunset (which we will share down the track), but waited in hope of getting something amazing here when its covered in snow.
Last week we made the silly mistake of trying to get here ourselves driving on a VERY icy road, only to reverse many km’s back (sweating every moment lol). Luckily our friends at @Iceak_Superjeeptours came to our rescue & took us back here for sunrise the following morning for what was an incredible display of colours that splashed across the sky...we were both so rapt! One of our followers on Snapchat, who saw us capture this live, said it resembled a bridal veil & we have to agree with her.
With hard work & some patience, anything is possible in the end. Let us know what you guys think…and thanks again to Camping Iceland for getting us here!
