When sighting a Tiger in Sunderland use to be a big deal. I got this individual within 45 mins of reaching Sunderbans on my first and only visit there. It use to be quite difficult to sight a Tiger in Sunderbans. It's just a bad record shot of a Tigress walking along the mud bank with mangroves as back drop. Her legs were at least 6 inches deep into the mud while walking. It's amazing that a Tiger can adapt to saline conditions and tide timings and survive successfully in such hostile conditions Old photo from Jan 2010. #tiger#sunderban#mangrove#mega#canon #
