One of my favorite leg day exercises! I’ve been amazed by what my body has been able to do over these past couple of weeks. For as long as I can remember I have lacked confidence in various areas of my life, including the gym. Here’s the thing about us humans, we underestimate ourselves the most. When we have something unknown or frightening looming in the distance, we shrink back in fear. We don’t think that we can conquer it; we lack the faith that we will overcome it in one piece. We’re so convinced that the things we will face in the future are too big for us, or that when the time comes we won’t know how to stand on our own two feet. But the thing is, when push comes to shove, we’re stronger than we think 😌♥️

How to Perform the Exercise:
1. Adjust the seat height so the lever is near shoulder your axis.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Sit on the machine and push foot lever. Place elbows on pads and grasp bar from behind. Release foot lever and place feet on the platform or to sides.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Pull lever forward and down until elbows are to sides. Return until shoulders are fully flexed, or upper arms are parallel to torso.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4.  Return slowly to starting position and repeat 🔃

💡 Trainer Tips:
Some people claim this is a chest exercise, others, claim this is a back exercise... they're both right... kind of. You can isolate either the chest or the lat depending on how and when you use this exercise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Try adding a cable or machine pull-over at the start of a back workout to pre-exhaust your lats, or, try adding a dumbbell pull-over at the end of a chest workout. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
