My Father's Day inspirational post. He isn't on social media, but three years ago I was driving back and forth to see him while he was in the hospital. It was a fairly scary time. My Dad had always been invincible to me. Always supportive, and even though he was a little gruff and cranky while I was growing up (and still is 🤣), he's my Dad. He always instilled in me to work hard! That's what I have always done. Work hard and you will achieve much in life. He recovered, made life-changing decisions to become healthier, and had started walking daily once he was able. On Mother's Day he fell on his walk and broke his elbow so he sported a sling for a while. I talked with him earlier, and he was over the moon about a Jerry Lewis play they went to see today. He has worked hard to be there for our family. I know I'm writing this and Father's Day is almost over, but that's because another emotional milestone is coming and the words just haven't been there for me today. 😭 Above all, love one another and take time for those who are important in your life.
